Men’s Club
The Men’s Club of Temple Emanu-El is open to all members of the Temple and we meet on the second Thursday of the month at 7:30 pm.
Taking part in our Men’s Club is a wonderful way to become an active member of the Temple, as our events and activities are focused in three areas: Cameraderie, Congregation and Community.
We support Cameraderie through events such as men’s dinners out, men’s Seder and social networking opportunities.
We support our Congregation through events such as Temple youth scholarships to Jewish summer camp programs, study in Israel and NiFTY conventions, Sukkah building and pre-holiday get togethers. We also plan programs in conjunction with Sisterhood and for members and their families.
We support our Community through events such as food delivery to the needy.
Join Men’s Club and help us further expand our contributions to Temple Emanu-el and the Reform Jewish Movement.

Biking on the Middlesex Greenway. Family Members Welcome.
LOCATION: Middlesex Greenway Park at 10AM.

We will meet at Middlesex Greenway Park at 10AM
• For GPS Directions Use: 681 Middlesex Avenue, Metuchen, NJ 08840
• This is a small park at the intersection of Memorial Parkway and Middlesex Avenue in Metuchen.
• We can park our cars here for the duration of the ride.
We will ride together along the path for approximately one hour each way. Bring water and some snacks for the bike ride. When we get back to our original starting point, we will have a sort-of tailgate party. Bring lunches in a cooler to be eaten there.
If you want to, bring some things to share with the other riders. Any bike is fine. If you have not used your bike in a while, you should try riding it in advance. We recommend helmets for everyone.

Men: Join TEMC as we gather for a weekend of prayer, song, discussions, reflection, and comradeship.
Rick Calvert will join us Friday evening through Saturday Evening
A member of our clergy will be with us on Friday evening for the service.
LOCATION:- Camp Bernie, Port Murray, NJ (Hunterdon County, about 1 hour from Westfield)
ACCOMMODATIONS:- Dormitory style bunks in heated cabins
MEALS: – All meals included (5, from dinner on Friday through breakfast on Sunday)
ACTIVITIES: – Shabbat service and discussion groups, songfest (led by Rick Calvert), Havdalah service, BBQ, outdoor activities, cards, games, Archery
COST: – $120 per person for TEMC members ($50 deposit due by August 16 2024)
