Temple Emanu-El

The Men’s Club of Temple Emanu-El is a part of the North American Federation of Temple Brotherhoods (NFTB) and is open to all male members of the Temple. We meet monthly at 8:00 P.M., the first Wednesday of the month at the Temple.

The Men’s Club does many things for the Temple. Our most important annual project and our primary fund raiser is the compilation and publication of the Temple Journal sent to every family just prior to the New Year. Other annual projects include:

Construction of a Sukkah for the Temple
Chanukah Party for the Religious School
Delivery of food baskets to needy families for Jewish Family Services
“Boys Night Out” to Sammy’s Roumanian Steakhouse in NYC
Holiday luncheon for the Temple staff
Spaghetti and meatball dinner for Sisterhood and their families
Sunday lox and eggs brunches
Spiritual retreat to Camp Louemma in Sussex, NJ
and so much more

All members of the Men’s Club are entitled and encouraged to attend our monthly meetings. A first year member of the Temple is automatically a member of the Men’s Club with no dues obligation for that year. Our annual dues for subsequent years are only $40. Every first year member is entitled to a complimentary greeting in the Family Greeting Section of the Temple Emanu-El Men’s Club Journal.
