How to Promote Your Project in the Bulletin
B’nai Mitzvah Project Bulletin Submission Guidelines
Bar/bat mitzvah students can choose to publicize their mitzvah projects in the Temple Bulletin. However, this is NOT a requirement.
If you would like to have your bar/bat mitzvah project listed in the Temple Bulletin, please observe the following guidelines:
- The Bulletin deadline for b’nai mitzvah project listings is the 10th of the month, two months before the bulletin is published. Thus, for an April bulletin, articles need to be submitted by February 10.
- Articles may be submitted the 10th of the month two months before publication to Rabbi Doberne-Schor by email rabbiglazer@tewnj.org) or by mail (Temple Emanu-El, attn: Rabbi Glazer; 756 E. Broad St.; Westfield, NJ 07090). This is a firm deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.
- All b’nai mitzvah listings must be approved by Rabbi Glazer.
- Article text must be no more than 200 words.
- You may ask readers to email or phone you with questions and/or to arrange for drop-off of items. (For safety reasons, do not list your home address in the article itself.) Please do not list the Temple office number as a contact or ask anyone to drop off their donations at the Temple.
If you have questions, please contact Rabbi Glazer at rabbiglazer@tewnj.org or (908) 232-6770, ext. 115. |
