Kidnapped from the Nova Music Festival on 10/7, where he was working security,
Bar endured an unimaginable 738 days in Hamas captivity and was recently freed in the October 2025 hostage release.

The heart of our community was profoundly moved exactly a year ago, when we
welcomed Dvir Kupershtein, Bar’s brother, and Din Tesler, Bar’s best friend and a
Nova survivor, on December 10, 2024. Dvir and Din also joined our local Run for
Their Lives group in Tamaques Park.

We prayed continuously for Bar’s release, and we are beyond overjoyed and
relieved that he is finally home. Join us as we stand in solidarity with Bar —
offering him strength, the support of our vibrant Jewish community, and bearing
witness as he bravely shares both his painful story and his remarkable resilience.

At this unique moment in history, this is an evening not to be missed.

This rare opportunity offers a firsthand account of unwavering courage in the face of unimaginable darkness.  The conversation will explore deeply personal experiences and may not be suitable for children.
