Gather Groups
Gather Groups are small, peer-led groups that bring people together around shared interests in a way that fits real life. They are designed to foster meaningful connection through consistency, conversation, and community without the pressure of a formal program.
Gather Groups are social rather than instructional, relational rather than programmatic, and built around showing up as yourself. They are not classes or committees. Each group meets in person, off-site, and is shaped by the people in it, with leaders serving as connectors rather than experts.
As you peruse our pilot offerings, we ask you to keep in mind a few important details:
Groups are for adults only
Each group will include 8–15 members, and will be facilitated by 1–2 peer leaders with staff support.
Participants may be invited to contribute in different ways based on the group’s culture and goals
Groups are built around commitment. Members are encouraged to show up regularly and invest in one another and in the group as a whole.
During this pilot phase, we are offering a limited number of groups. If you don’t see a topic that interests you or a meeting time that works, additional Gather Groups are planned for a new cycle launching this fall.
To ensure as many people as possible can participate, we ask that each person sign up for only one group.
If you are registering with a partner or spouse, please have each person sign up individually.
