Join us for a compelling and intimate conversation with Rabbi Angela Buchdahl as she shares the inspiration behind her deeply personal and thought provoking book, Heart of a Stranger. Exploring themes of identity, belonging, and faith, Rabbi Buchdahl reflects on her own journey as a spiritual leader, Korean American, and convert to Judaism. This evening promises rich dialogue, insight and connection – an opportunity to engage with one of today’s most dynamic and influential voices in American Judaism.

Rabbi Angela Warnick Buchdahl serves as the Senior Rabbi of Central Synagogue in New York City, the first woman to lead this flagship congregation. Born in Korea to a Jewish American father and a Korean Buddhist mother, she is the first Asian-American to be ordained as a rabbi in North America.

Books will be available for purchase.
