Thinking about God
Four-week class with Rabbi Mary L. Zamore
Thursdays at 12:00 PM .10/1, 10/8, 10/22, 10/29
What do we mean when we talk about God? How have Jews understood God across the centuries, and what might these ideas mean for us today? In this four-week class, we will explore foundational questions about God and the human experience, drawing on Rabbi Dr. Kari H. Tuling’s Thinking about God.
Together, we will encounter the rich spectrum of Jewish answers to questions about God, belief, doubt, prayer, suffering, meaning, and our relationship with the Divine. This class is designed for everyone—from those who have been studying theology for years to those who have never taken a class on Jewish ideas about God. Come with your questions, your curiosity, and your willingness to explore.
